Performance dates on The Players Mainstage are September 1st through 11th, 2016, with rehearsals through July and August. Stella Kowalski – Age – Late ’20s – Lusty, Sensual, Sexual. Passionately loves her husband, Stanley. Pregnant with their first child.
Blanche DuBois – Age – ’30s – Stella’s older sister. Both Ethereal and Sexual. Loves Stella; attracted to Stanley. Desperately trying to hold the last vestiges of her world together.
Stanley Kowalski – Age – ’20s – ’30s – Stella’s husband. Earthy, animalistic; Proud of his Physicality and Sexuality. Passionately loves Stella; deeply resents Blanche’s presence.
Harold Mitchell (Mitch) – Age – ’30s – ’40s – Stanley’s best friend. Shy, Quiet, Lonely. Something of a Mama’s boy.
Eunice Hubbell – Age – ’30s – ’50s – Upstairs neighbor/landlord. Sweet, Sassy; loves her husband Steve very much.
Steve Hubbell – Age – ’30s – ’50s – Friend/Landlord to Stanley and Stella; Stanley’s friend and poker buddy. Loves his Eunice.
Pablo Gonzalez – Age – ’20s – ’40s – Stanley’s friend and poker buddy.
Collector – Age – Early ’20s – Shy, Innocent, Naive. Collecting for the local newspaper, The Evening Star.
Doctor – Age – ’30s – ’60s – Pychiatrist; present to take Blanche away.
Nurse – Age – ’20s – ’60s – Present to take Blanche away.
